SmartOTDR Handheld Fibre Tester

The SmartOTDR from VIAVI Solutions is a telco test equipment for fibre testing in metro and access networks. As its name implies, this compact handheld tester combines all the essential fibre testing functions into one, eliminating the need to carry different testers to site. It can do OTDR measurements, fibre inspection with automated end-face analysis for identifying faults, visual fault location and has a built-in light source and power meter for optical loss testing.
