This series of ultra-compact first-mile demarcation devices delivers cost-effective fibre-based Carrier Ethernet 2.0 services for mobile backhaul and wholesale Ethernet applications. This series of demarcation devices are durable and provides high service availability, even in harsh environments, thanks to its temperature-hardened design and optional network link protection. With a combination of low-touch provisioning, standards-based auto-configuration, and remote OAM capabilities, it is possible to achieve cost-effective deployment of services and reduce the need of truck rolls. The FSP 150-GE100 series supports Synchronous Ethernet and IEEE 1588v2 PTP and with Syncjack™ technology provides tools for precise timing distribution, monitoring and assurance.
